For the past 16 years, Fred Burridge has run his own fencing, gate installation and tree work company in Heathfield, East Sussex and is currently setting up a new company specifically to deal with the growing gate automation side of his expanding business.
Fred knows that gate automation requires a multi-disciplined skill set, including civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering, with safety as a paramount concern. So, the proper training for his new venture is vital.
Fred stated that "practical and in-depth gate automation training, especially on specific systems, is very hard to find."
So, on 9th March 2023, Fred took advantage of the free training offered by GIBIDI UK and spent the whole day with our principal Engineer, Rod Tinker.
The day was tailored around Fred’s experience and training to date, and Rod was able to offer a bespoke itinerary focusing on GIBIDI motors and control board. Through practical testing on our demo equipment, Fred left with a good understanding of each motor and its appropriate application in various environments. He also took advantage of 30 years of installation knowledge and know-how available at GIBIDI UK.
