Whilst we understand that price is key, more importantly, we know that expert technical advice and guidance can save many costly site-hours, as well as travelling costs and stress!

The technical team at GIBIDI UK in Kent hosts a depth of gate automation experience and expertise:

  • 30 years of automated gate installation, in the field.
  • 20 years of engineering experience, specifically with the GIBIDI product range.
  • 20 years of gate automation repairs and servicing.

Our technical team is headed up by Rod Tinker, our principal engineer. City and Guilds qualified in both mechanical and electronic engineering, Rod has worked in the gate automation world for nearly two decades as a Senior Technical Support and Field Engineer, before joining the GIBIDI UK technical team in 2021. 


Accessing Technical Support

If you are installing or servicing GIBIDI gate automations, you can get expert advice and diagnostics over the phone whilst you are on site. We can resolve most installation or callout/breakdown issues like this and so you can complete the work as planned.

If necessary, you are welcome to send to us old equipment  or damaged parts for service and or repair assessment.

Our team will assess the equipment  and advise you on the best course of action and possible costs to  repair or service the product  in a timely manner from the receipt of item .

Sometimes, if the costs of repair are not economically viable or practical, we will advise the cost of a suitable replacement or upgrade, in which case, we will call to discuss the options and costs.
