No Touch Vertical Safety Edges for Sliding Gates - 1m, 1.5m, 1.7m, 2m & 2.5m
CAP ACTIVE 8K2 NO-TOUCH wireless safety edge for metal sliding gates. Certified to EN12978 (CAT 2/3 - EN954-1). To be used in conjunction with the CAP-R868 Receiver and CAP MAGIN Inhibition Magnet Kit.
The new NO-TOUCH range of 8K2 safety edges allows wireless installation using an EN ISO13849-1 compliant radio system. This solution allows you a courtesy feature* that can detect the obstacle before it is touched whilst continuing to always act as an active physical safety edge.
Our edges can be easily and quickly cut back to length on-site without specialist tools or sealants.
Instructions and a fitting template are provided to make a precise and perfect installation. (Not for horizontal use).
*The no-touch courtesy feature is not 100% guaranteed in every circumstance, particularly during repeated open and close activations. This is in order to save on battery and reset the no-touch system following multiple activations. The physical edge detection continues irrespective of the no-touch courtesy feature, ensuring that the edge always works.
